NEWARK, NJ — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New York District, announces the awarding of the contract for the Minish Park Project Reach 1, also known as the Joseph G. Minish Passaic River Waterfront Park and Historic Area, located in Newark, New Jersey. The contract, valued at $13.41 million, was awarded to George Harms Construction Co., Inc.

This project aims to enhance the waterfront park area, improving public access and preserving the historical aspects of the site. The development will include infrastructure improvements, landscape enhancements, and the creation of recreational facilities that will benefit the community and visitors to Newark, New Jersey.
