The replacement of Peach Creek Elementary School and Greenleaf Elementary School will each encompass approximately 130,000 square feet, providing space for classrooms, administrative offices, specialized facilities, and recreational areas. Each school will serve Pre-K through 5th grade and have a capacity for 1,000 students to support the growing school district.
“As Splendora ISD moves forward into the needs of a fast-growth district, we look forward to working with LAN on two new elementary replacement campuses," SISD Superintendent Jeff Burke, Ed.D. said. "These campuses will provide exceptional learning environments to students currently attending class in our oldest facilities. We have appreciated our partnership with LAN thus far and have been impressed with the firm's attention to detail and proactive communication. We look forward to a successful future working together to secure the educational future of the students of Splendora ISD.”
The bond initiative is part of the district’s master plan to meet the needs of the students and community. SISD serves more than 4,000 students in Pre-K through high school. Both elementary schools are currently expected to be completed by August 2025.
“We are looking forward to helping Splendora ISD realize the transformation of its facilities and ensure our projects are completed in a timely manner," said JP Grom, AIA, LEED AP, PMP, CCM, LAN Vice President and Director of LAN’s Program Management team. "The new elementary schools will provide an improved learning experience for students in the Splendora community.”
