KDC broke ground on the new corporate campus for SRS Distribution Inc. in March 2019. The four-story Class A office building sits on 4.2 acres within McKinney’s Hub 121, a 22-acre mixed-use development at the corner of the Sam Rayburn Tollway and Alma Road.
“This project has been a great team effort with the City of McKinney, Gensler, Adolfson & Peterson, and of course SRS Distribution to turn their dreams into reality with a new campus in McKinney,” said Peter Yates, Vice President for KDC. “The new building will be a fantastic working environment for employees, and positions SRS Distribution for continued growth and success. This project, alongside the Independent Financial HQ, sets the pace for other companies to join the growing area at Hub 121 and Craig Ranch.”
The corporate campus has indoor and outdoor amenities, along with conference and meeting space. The building also has outdoor amenity space for working, socializing, eating, and events, both on the ground floor and upper level balconies, which will overlook the Hub 121 development, creek, and walking trails to the north.

SRS Distribution, one of the country’s largest and fastest growing building products distributors, plans to add about 150 jobs over the next decade, bringing the total to 300 jobs in McKinney.
KDC developed SRS Distribution’s corporate campus, with Gensler serving as the design architect and Adolfson & Peterson as the general contractor.
KDC is developing a corporate headquarters for Sammons Financial Group in West Des Moines, Iowa, and recently completed headquarters projects for Pioneer Natural Resources in Irving, Texas, Independent Financial in McKinney, Frost Tower in San Antonio, and an expansion project for Credit Suisse in Raleigh, North Carolina.
